Donna Corley
Advocate. Educator. Voice for the Voiceless.
Donna Corley is the founder and leader of the Tarlov Cyst Society of America. Since 2013, she has created a safe, supportive space for patients navigating the challenges of Tarlov Cyst Disease—both before and after treatment. What began as a private support group has evolved into a trusted resource for education, empowerment, and advocacy across the United States.
Diagnosed in 2009, Donna’s life changed in a single moment. Confronted with a condition that few doctors understood and even fewer treated seriously, she quickly discovered the critical need for awareness and accurate information. Determined to change that, she launched a patient-led movement to educate the newly diagnosed about the realities of Tarlov Cyst Disease.
In addition to Tarlov Cyst Disease, Donna also lives with the effects of Adhesive Arachnoiditis (AA) and Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (RSD)—two painful and often overlooked conditions. Her advocacy naturally expanded to include these communities, where she continues to fight for better recognition, treatment options, and compassionate care.
From her home in Mississippi, Donna leads with compassion, courage, and conviction. Her mission is simple but powerful: to ensure that no patient feels dismissed, isolated, or uninformed. Through her work, she is challenging outdated narratives and helping the world see these complex neurological conditions for what they truly are—real, serious, and deserving of understanding, recognition, and respect.
